\[\frac{126}{360}*C = 14\pi\] So to find the circumference of the circle we solve for C using algebra. \[C = 40\pi\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK so 9 is 40?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. 40pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would #10 be a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep it's 10pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok! what about 11 and 12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for 11 we write an equation to solve for x, where x is the measure of angle TRS \[ \frac{x}{360}*18\pi= 7\pi\] \[x = 140\] so for 11 the answer is 140

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for 12 we use another equation \[\frac{135}{360}*\pi(\frac{D}{2})^2 = 73.5\pi\] \[D = 28\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for 12 the answer is 28
