ya so now check the slope of both the lines. it comes out to be same that is -2/3. so the lines are parallel. you get it? or you want me to explain in more detail?

i think i was confused with the first equation, I have to flop the 2x (?) and that becomes negative?

yes you are right just remember the general equatin y=mx+b always write in this format

yes it wont matter with the value of b its just m that matters for checking parallel lines actually thsess lines r same lines jus displaced from each other as the value of b is difffernt

if you put it into y=mx+b and your m's are the same but your b's arent then teh lines are parrallel, if b's are the same but m's aren't then they both intersect at the same point on the y axis. If both the m and b are the same for both then they are ontop of eachother
