whats the fastest thing in the universe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Light, it travels at about 2.998*10^8 m/s which is about 670633499 miles per hour.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually god travels faster then light

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is no such thing as god.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually there are particles faster than light, but still not proved fully

OpenStudy (anonymous):

light travels at 3e8 einstien's theory of relativity states that if something wants to go faster than the speed of light it cannot, therefore time just slows down for it, if I want to travel and 2 * 3e8, I will just go 3e8 for two seconds. however, for you not traveling that fast only one second will have passed for you, look up the twin paradox

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's not how that works Jadler.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the fastest "things" in our Universe are also the most distant, they move away from at N tiems C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Light is fast BUT gravitational waves can travel at several multiple of times the speed of light. SUBQUANTUM KINETICS.
