Kalil flipped a coin 60 times. He got 34 heads. How does this result compare to the number of heads you would have expected based on theoretical probability? A.It's less than expected. B.It's greater than expected. C.It's the same as expected. D.There is no expected value.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the expected values is one half of 60 which is 30 you are not far off

B.It's greater than expected. Half were expected to be heads.

so i would say it is "greater than expected" but certainly not greater than you would really expect using the english language definition of expect.

to get exactly 30 would be a rare occurrence, and you have to get something.
