which of the following? where are the answers?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
sorry its 30, 50, 70, 90, 110
OpenStudy (anonymous):
unless it's asking for a point and in that case you know that f'(x) =0 at your maximum and minimums
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So to start, f'(x) is the derivative of x. To find the maximum/minimum values of an equation, you find the derivative and set it equal to zero. In this problem, we already have the equation of the derivative. Now look for where it equals zero. It appears to equal zero at x=0 and at x=6.

ok
OpenStudy (anonymous):
they want you to estimate the area under the curve
OpenStudy (anonymous):
that is the value of the function at 6
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@monkey didn't we do these last night?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I'm not sure if we did this one but we definitely worked from this packet

hey monkey lol
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok just estimate the area under the curve. i cannot see it that well but that is what he question comes down to
OpenStudy (anonymous):
thanks so much!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
and be careful because the stupid problem has y units different from x units
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yw

Each square looks like 5*1, so 5 units per square
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I think, the picture is hard to read
OpenStudy (anonymous):
definitely missed that units thing... changes so much
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ya it is.. did u get 110?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i can't do it.
