Can someone tell me how to do this .... http://postimage.org/image/tbaykq2s/

The way I will solve it is to write the radicals in exponent form so it will be:\[\ \frac{ x^{7/10}}{ x^{4/7}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because you are dividing like terms you have to subtract the exponents so you find the lcd of the two fractions which is 70 and you have:\[\ \frac{x^{49/70}}{x^{40/70}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

49/70 - 40/70 = 9/70

OpenStudy (anonymous):

leaving you with:\[x^{9/70} = \sqrt[70]{x^{9}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you get it?

Yes , thanks :)
