How do you know that x^2+y^2=2 has an area twice as great as x^2+y^2=1? correct me if im wrong which i probably am but if you take the square root of the 2 in this equation: x^2+y^2=2, then you'd get 1.414. how would that create an area twice the size of a circle with a radius of 1?
