i think it would be neg. infinity (0-1)+(1-sqrt(2)) + (sqrt(2)-sqrt3) +...(sqrt(n-1) -sqrt(n)) = -sqrt(n)

I believe you are right dubmcow. However, all i you would have to say though for this question would be some does not converge. It doesn't matter if its negative, positive, or complex infinity =).
