In a certain code 'gri chri'means 'brand new''gyp twoh'means 'very old', 'gri bur twoh'means 'old and new'and 'chri deh gyp'means 'old brand car'. Which of the following codes means 'new car'?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help me any1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dichiaraj i think the question is wrong do u satisfy with me : since: since here : new is common in two codes : gri chri and chri bur twoh ,and here chri is common hence , chri stands for new , now we want the code for car , car is not common in any other code hence we should find a code for old and brand , old is common in two codes: gyp twoh and gri bur twoh , and since here twoh is common , hence twoh is code for old . but here in another code of old brand car we have : chri deh gyp , no twoh here . i think that the question is wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its gri bur twoh not chir bur twoh look at first line of logic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yes thanks ,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya thats correct.......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but one thing : where is old common it is common in gyp twoh and gri bur twoh , now see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

old is common i three phrases

OpenStudy (anonymous):

very old, old brand car, old and new

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gri=new and chri=brand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but see there codes " gyp twoh " , " gri bur twoh " and " chri deh gyp " any common thing here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the number of words in the code is consistent with the number of words in resulting phrase

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what!! explain in hindi if u can please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r u indian ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no I'm sorry hold on got another way though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey i got it bhaiya , thanks very much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

'gri chri' (2 words) = brand new (2 words) 'gyp twoh' (2 words) = very old (2 words) 'gri bur twoh' (3 words) = old and new (3 words) 'chri deh gyp' (3 words) = old brand car (3 words) the number of words in the code is consistent with the number of words in resulting phrase

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since here : new is common in two codes : gri chri and gri bur twoh ,and here gri is common hence , gri stands for new , now we want the code for car , car is not common in any other code hence we should find a code for old and brand , old is common in two codes: gyp twoh and chri deh gyp , and since here gyp is common , hence gyp is code for old .now turn of brand . brand is common in two codes " chri deh gyp " and " gri chri " chri is common hence brand means chri . deh is left hence deh is code for car. hence the code for new car would be gri deh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ans wer 'gri deh'
