I don't understand why 2pi/k = period for a trigonometric function.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[cos (x) , and\space sin(x) \] have period of 2pi

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2pi is a normal period for a sin or cos function; it the way it behaves naturally; by adjusting the way it natrually behaves, we mess with its periodicity

OpenStudy (amistre64):

lets say you run a mile with a period of 2 hours\[\] when we modify your speed, we adjust your 2hour period right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nice

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thnx :)
