factor and simplify (8)(x+6)^7 (1)(2x+3)^-6 + (-6)(2x+3)^-7(2)(x+6)^8. I've got it to 8(x+6)^7 (1)/(2x+3)^6 - 12(x+6)^8/(2x+3)^7, but I'm not sure if I'm done!

gr8 question you must have troubled a lot to find the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u write it with equation forum ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am providing u a script ok . see this and if u r satisfied then please give me medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks like a product rule problem yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\small{did\ you\ even\ write\ the\ problem\ right?}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you were differentiating \[(x+6)^8\times (2x+3)^{-6}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can put this over one denominator if you like. depends on what you want to do with it. you could write \[\frac{4(x-12)(x+6)^7}{(2x+3)^7}\] if you like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this form would be especially helpful if you want to find the critical points, because right away you see they are at 12, -6, and -3/2
