\[\frac{ y2-y-12}{y^2-9} \]
i think (y-4)/(y-3)
since (y-4)(y+3)/(y+3)(y-3) and (y+3) cancel out
\[{y^2-4y+3y-12}{(y+3)(y-3)}\] \[\frac{(y-4)(y+3)}{(y+3)(y-3)}\] (y-4)/(y-3)
