Can you explain this with steps? (problem coming in the equation editor)

\[2x/(x+3) + 5/x - 4 = 18/x(x+3)\]

multiply both sides by x+3 and also x to get rid of the denominators

i did that and it didn't work. can you do it out in steps then?

\[x(x+3)\frac{2x}{x+3}+x(x+3)\frac{5}{x}-4x(x+3)=x(x+3)\frac{18}{x(x+3)}\]

\[x(2x)+(x+3)(5)-4x(x+3)=18\]

distribute and combine like terms put in the form ax^2+bx+c=0 and use the quadratic formula
