How to solve for limits when x approaches infinity vs a number. In example, lim x-< infinity sqrt(9x^2+1)/(2x+6) ?

Is the answer 3/2?

Not sure. No answer is provided. How did you come up with 3/2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I took out 9 and x^2 from the square root = 3x, and the denominator is 2x.. So there is this rule, as the limit approaches infinity, because the highest power in the numerator and denominator is the same (x to the first power), I look at their coefficients = 3/2.
