If I take this course, do I get a grade, certification or at least something that assures I took this course? Is it useful for when I go to College?
There's no official certificate or anything like that. It's sort of like reading a book. You don't get a certificate that says that you read a book, but you do get the knowledge from it. If you're looking for a way to get college credit, then this won't necessarily help you. What it will do is make your college biology class easier because you've seen the material before. Also, depending on your college, it might help you skip the "easy" biology class and move straight to more advanced biology class. Many advanced classes say something like "requires first semester biology or permission of instructor." If you can talk to the professor and convince him or her you know the material from the first semester class, then you might be able to start in the second semester class. Or, the college actually might offer a test to prove that you know the material. In my college, for instance, I was able to skip first semester calculus by taking a test that proved that I knew the material. So my freshman year I started in second semester calculus. In my case, I was able to get credit for first semester calculus, but that doesn't always happen, and I don't think it's very common. You would have to check with the specific college that you're going to, and I certainly wouldn't count on it.
Thank you very much for your answer. I'll try to talk to teachers at College. Thanks.
