what is the value of x, y, and z for (5/4)x-(4/3)y+(5/4)z=6 , (5/16)x+(5/4)y-(4/16)z=-4 , (3/4)x-1y+(3/4)z=6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have a TI-84, or something?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, wanna just plug it into your matrix?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont have matrix table

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You do have a TI-84, right? Just click 2nd and that button x^-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then wat do u do :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha, okay, basically, you take all the numbers that have a constant and take that constant away, and put it into the calculator. So you take your system of equations and make the matrix (first row or column, i forgot )--5/4, -4/3, and 5/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually first, go to the edit and make a new matrix that is 3x3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then wat do u do :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where do you put the last values like 6, -4, and 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then plug in the numbers that are in your system of equations : 5/4, -4/3, 5/4.....5/16, 5/4, -4/16......3/4, -1, and 3/4. Then make a new matrix that is 3x1 and plug in what your system of equation equals: 6, -4, and 6. Then do this A^-1, (make sure you click the x^-1 button) and then times B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha why is my computer so laggy? put those in a new matrix 3x1. You should get the answer 16, -12, -24. At least that's what i got

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then wat do u do :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i didnt get times b part ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You take the first 3x3 matrix, just click enter on it then click on the button that says x^-1, and then click the 2nd matrix and click enter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then wat do u do :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank uuu

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha you got it? no problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then wat do u do :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yess :)
