Do you guys know the domain of a cicrcle in pre-calculas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The domain of a circle depends on the radius. The general form for the equation of a circle is x^2 + y^2 = 1 This is just an extension of the Pythagorean Theorem and Pythagorean Identity of sin^2 + cos^2 = 1 Remember that sin is the y-axis in pre-calc and that cos is x axis. With this in mind, the domain would be the same as the radius so if you have a unit circle, it would be [-1,1]. A circle of radius 5, [-5,5]. Please Like Tutor Sean on facebook.
