How is a cytoskeleton like your brain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Essentially, the cytoskeleton is not like the brain. The cytoskeleton is purely structural. it maintains cellular structure, acts as a path for motor proteins, allows cell locomotion etc. The brain is a network of neurons by which information travels via action potentials. perhaps information can travel along both the cytoskeleton (motor proteins) and brain (action potentials). Although that's a bit retarded.
