Please explain this: Lori drove from New York to Virginia , a distance of 575 km in 8 hours. Part of this trip was spent driving on a four -lane highway where she averaged 100km/h. How much time spent driving on the four-lane highway?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is she drove for 8 hours and it was a distance of 575 km

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the four lane highway is 100km/h mean she didn't spent the entire time on it since there's only a total of 575 km and if she did it would only been around 6hours to get there and that all I know don't know how to solve the problem completely

thanks

is there anything missing from the equation? In theory Lori could have drove 0.0001% of her time on the four lane

ohh i made a typo the question actually reads:Lori drove from New York to Virginia , a distance of 575 km in 8 hours. Part of this trip was spent driving on a four -lane highway where she averaged 100km/h.The remainder of the trip was spent on a two lane highway where she averaged 50km/h.How much time spent driving on the four-lane highway?
