OpenStudy (jamesj):

OpenStudy (jamesj):

@jimmryrep: you gave it away!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you've had the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its prime?

OpenStudy (jamesj):

@jimmyrep: and here's the problem. @emmybear: what is the definition of a prime number?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hhmmm...

OpenStudy (jamesj):

I'm guessing that you don't know. A prime number is a positive integer that is only divisible by itself or 1. For example, 2 is prime, so is 3 and 5. The number 6 is not prime because 6 = 2 x 3 and is therefore divisible by both 2 and 3. 10 is not prime, because 10 = 2 x 5 11 is prime Getting the idea?

OpenStudy (jamesj):

Now notice that every even number is divisible by 2 2 = 2 x 1 4 = 2 x 2 6 = 2 x 3 8 = 2 x 4 100 = 2 x 50 178 = 2 x 89 1,000,000 = 2 x 500,000 So NO even number except 2 is prime.

OpenStudy (jamesj):

So is your number, 192, prime or not prime?
