3(x-1)(2x+3) Simplify this and show how eg. (x+3)(x+2) =x^2+2x+3x+6 =x^2+5x+6 Now answer the original one at the top show ypur workings try to do them the way shown in the example

OpenStudy (lalaly):

\[\large{(3x-3)(2x+3) = 6x^2+9x-6x-9 = 6x^2+3x-9}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which is equal to 2x^2 + x - 3.

OpenStudy (lalaly):

\[3(2x^2+x-3)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but u turned it back to brackets where as i want the simplest form like tanvidais13 did

OpenStudy (lalaly):

no her answer is not right, simplest form is my first answer 6x^2+3x-9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thnx i know hers is not right i just wanted you to simplify thnx again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simply like hers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah i didnt see that second equals i thought you had only given the first step of simplification srry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so does the 3 turn the first set of brackets to be multiplied by 3

OpenStudy (lalaly):
