thanks you have time to answer some more questions ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure a couple more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you want me to put the whole question list in one message or ask you one by one ? there are five questions only

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just put all the five down, that's fine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What evolves? an individual a species a population a genus everything 2. What defines species? a biology text reproductive incompatibility (or compatibility) in nature someone with a Ph.D. in Biology physical appearance (similarity and dissimilarity) nothing (it is never defined) 3. What is the source of new alleles? mutation recombination sexual reproduction gametes nothing (there are no new alleles) 4. Which (is an/are) intrinsic isolating mechanisms? behavioral isolation mechanical isolation hybrid infertility ecological isolation all of the above 5. Microevolution refers to: change in the allele frequency within a population change in the gamete frequency within a population change in chromosome number within a population the creation of a new species the creation of two new species

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.) Populations evolve. 2.) Reproductive incompatibility in nature. That's why a mule, which is the offspring of a horse and a donkey, is not a species as it is not able to reproduce and create it's own offspring. 3.) Mutation is a source of new alleles. 4.) Not too sure about question 4, sorry. 5.) Change in allele frequency within a population. Can anyone else verify?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you not sure about number 4 only ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok let me ask it in the group but thanks a llot man. hope i dont fail the quiz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry if I had to guess though I would say all of the above. The reason I'm uncertain is because I'm a bit unsure of what is meant by "intrinsic".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey I have a qquestion about this site. Is there any way i can contact you or any other person if i become there fan ?
