Please help! What's the rule for... 5, 7, 9, 11, and (blank)? Explain in Rule~Nth term and Rule~n+1 term. N=1 Thanks to all! :) ^-^

Oh... Progression. I was only learning this. xD Did you notice that the difference between the terms is +2? So the n th term is the number of the term in the arithmetic progression (for this case it is called arithmetic progression). For this progression, if 5 is the first term, then 9 would be the 3rd term. I haven't touched on rule n+1 yet, or there isn't except that there is an n-1 for the formula. Cheers!

5,7,9,11.......an, an+2, an+2.2, an +2.3, an+2.4......an+2n n= 0 to infinity a0 =5, a1= 5 +2.1 =7 and so on
