A Trap Jaw ants mandible has an acceleration of 492km/s^2. This ant uses it's jaw snap to push off the ground reaching a height of 20.4cm. What was it's initial velocity when it left the ground? @Mathematics

OpenStudy (anonymous):

convert 492km/s^2 to m/s^2, convert 20.4cm to meter as well use one of the kinematic equation to solve this problem because the force is constant and acceleration is constant. use y (height)= [(vfinal^2)-(vinitial^2)]/2a
