OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats 10^2 and 10^1 and 10^0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In scientific notation, the exponent b is chosen such that the absolute value of a remains at least one but less than ten (1 ≤ |a| < 10).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did u check my answer on ur calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, and its wrong. Here's my proof http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=2120+scientific+notation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok watch 2120 212.0 *10 21.2*10^2 10 times 2 equals 100 21.2 times 100 equals 2120 which just so happens to be the number i started out with
