Can Rotobey help me
can someone help me
I don't know, what's your question?
In least to greatest put these in order show work............
22/4 , 65 : 12 , 9:2 , 100/19 ,5:1
these i've been trying to get help for a hours
I can help you out, all you have to do is convert your ratios to fractions or fractions to ratios, do you know how to do that?
No i just started to learn this ?
I have the order they go in i just need the work...my teacher assigned it to us she gave us the anwsers but she wanted us to solve it???
9:2 , 5:1 ,100/19 , 65:12 , 22/4
thats the correct order but she wants the work
Hello is anyone here
\[\left\{9:2,5:1,\frac{100}{19},\frac{65}{12},22/4\right\} \]Looks like luchiananami is correct and deserves a medal. I converted the ":" symbols to "/", made a Mathematica list and sorted the list with "Sort". Unfortunately Mathematica simplifies the output automatically so 5/1 comes out t or the fractions are reduced. Takes additional time to convert the sorted results back to the orginal form.
typo error. 5/1 comes out 5, not "t".
Is that a picture from when you were a child ?
1.You are AWSOME in math :) 2.Every time I come one here you help me alot so thank you :) 3.For the problem you said was correct could you show me the work to how you got it :) Pretty please :D
Yes. I think I was about 12 or 13 years old then. I am 77 years old now and my current photo would send the folks out into the streets with their hair on fire.
wow that is so sweet of you to be here on a sunday night helping kids :) You are ver kind very kind indeed :)
Could you show me the work for the last problem :)
The Mathematica input statement was the following:\[\text{Sort}[\{22/4,65/12,9/2,100/19,5/1\}] \]Mathematica returned the following:\[\left\{\frac{9}{2},5,\frac{100}{19},\frac{65}{12},\frac{11}{2}\right\} \]By appending the ordered characters //N to the string, Mathematica will convert the list elements to decimal numbers as shown below:\[\left\{\frac{9}{2},5,\frac{100}{19},\frac{65}{12},\frac{11}{2}\right\}\text{//}N = \{4.5,5.,5.26316,5.41667,5.5\} \]
Thank you so very much :)
luchiananami, i do like the fact that you're being helped. I do hope though that you understand how the answers were arrived at, and not just copying...
One last thing. The following forx of the N function creates an easier on the eyes output:\[N\left[\left\{\frac{9}{2},5,\frac{100}{19},\frac{65}{12},\frac{11}{2}\right\} ,3\right]=\{4.50,5.00,5.26,5.42,5.50\} \]
yes very much and i appreacieat robtobey helping me so much every time i come on here.My grade has gone to a c- to a b+ since i have been on here :)
typo error again. forx should have been typed "form" Thank you for the medal.
No problem....You helped me....i help you.
I say this
