Simplify log5 s + log5 11 – log5 15 – log5 t Simplify log5 s + log5 11 – log5 15 – log5 t @Mathematics

hero (hero):

What's that rule for log(a)-log(b) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But doesnt it come out looking like this: s*11 / 15 / t? cuz when they add, its really suppose to be multiplied

hero (hero):

Oh, I see what you're saying..

hero (hero):

Well, then it should be: log5(11s)-log5(15t) = log5(11s/15t)

hero (hero):

Any questions?

hero (hero):

\[\log_5(\frac{11s}{15t})\]

Ok thank you :)
