OpenStudy (cathyangs):

PLEASE HELP ME! How do you enter a cell formula on an spreadsheet, putting the same formula for a iteration in each cell of a column? @Physics

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

you can enter a formulae in a cell by preceeding it with an equals sign, e.g.:\[=3*A1\]would put 3 times the value of cell A1 into the cell that this formulae was typed into. You can then drag that cell down to cover as many cells as you wish and they will get a copy of this formulae. Is this what you were after?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

you can look here for more help: http://people.usd.edu/~bwjames/tut/excel/25.html

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

thanks for your help...but it didn't work T-T. Any ideas?

OpenStudy (trancenova):

Hey please don't spam your question :) anyway if you stick the formula in the first cell then you can click the little square in the bottom right, click and drag into anywhere you want that formula.

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

Thanks for that idea...but it didn't work either TT.TT

OpenStudy (trancenova):

Uhh okay, It should have, what exactly are you trying to do? o.O
