The RBCs of all mammals have no nuclei except the camel. Why is it that the camel should have nucleated RBCs?

The red blood cells of all mammals, without exception, are anucleated (lacking a nucleus). Mammal RBCs are nucleated only during embryonic stages. The red blood cells of camels are oval instead of round so they can withstand the effects of water deprivation better. Look at some wikipedia

in order to withstand heat,lot of energy is used.i think,this energy is retained using nucleus present in RBC.
