let f(x)=x^2-2x-4/x^-6x+8 g(x)=4x-20/x^2-6x+8 find (f-g)(x) how would you solve this problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well all i know is u solve for f then g and multiply by x...thats all i know actually...srry if that wasnt helpful...

OpenStudy (hunus):

(f-g)(x) means that you subtract g(x) from f(x) \[f(x)-g(x)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or that...

OpenStudy (hunus):

lol :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so meaning you divide both equations and then subtract?

OpenStudy (hunus):

nope, just subtract one from the other

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see what your saying ok thanks:)

OpenStudy (hunus):

no problem :)
