Tell whether this statement is sometimes, always, or never true. Support your answer with a sketch: An equilateral triangle is an isosceles triangle

OpenStudy (aroub):

Always!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have a sketch?

OpenStudy (aroub):

Not exactly but here, An equilateral triangle has three congruent sides which looks like: |dw:1323284081140:dw| And an isosceles triangle has AT LEAST 2 congruent sides which looks like: |dw:1323284171600:dw| or |dw:1323284191568:dw| So, an quilateral triangle is ALWAYS an isosceles triangle. Do you get it? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep :) thx :)

OpenStudy (aroub):

Okay, great! No problem :)
