tu/gustar/libros

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

libros is masculine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o masculine would in a o right

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

yes and the answer for tu/gustar/libros is...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

posesive adjetives

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

? you said earlier you were doing tener and gustar...you have to conjugate it, right? so...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

do you know the conjugation for tu/gustar/libros then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

ok... well: gustar means to be pleasing to. so the libros, books, are pleasing to tu, you. because libros is plural, it would be gustan, and because it's tu, te gustan. so the answer would be te gustan libros.

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

is this what your test is on?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mostly my teacher did not post the detail on the school site

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

did you do this in class?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

yo-tengo tú-tienes él, ella, Ud.-tiene nosotros-tenemos vosotros-tenéis ellos, ellas, Uds. -tienen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wha t does ud stand for

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

sorry...I was gone for a bit. ud is usted. You conjugate it like el and ella, but it's like a polite way to say you. Uds is ustedes, plural of usted. this website helps: http://www.wordreference.com/conj/ESverbs.aspx?v=tener

OpenStudy (anonymous):
