So I'm writing an essay for Macbeth. My teacher is a hard marker and I usually end up only getting 60's-70's on my essay. Could someone help? Essay question is : Who is more at fault for Duncan's murder, Macbeth or Lady Macbeth?

I don't know much about Macbeth, but I will bet money that you are getting low grades because your papers are not correctly structured, not because of their content. Here is a basic outline for you to follow. It will help you keep your thoughts and ideas organized. Good luck! Your essay should be 5 paragraphs: 1. Introduction: This is where you give your thesis and the 3 main points you will be covering in your paper. ~~~ Your thesis should answer the question you are asking in your essay... in this case: "Who is more at fault for Duncan's murder, Macbeth or Lady Macbeth?" Your 3 main points should support your thesis. ~~~ 2. Discuss main point 1. Give 3 to 5 supporting facts or examples. 3. Discuss main point 2. Give 3 to 5 supporting facts or examples. 4. Discuss main point 3. Give 3 to 5 supporting facts or examples. ~~~ Remember: Do not discuss more than one point in each paragraph. Discuss one point, in it's entirety, then move on to the next point in the next paragraph. ~~~ 5. Conclusion: This is very similar to your introduction, but written in the past tense. Remind the reader of what they have just read by mentioning, again, your three main points, as well as your thesis. ~~~ Make sure you don't add any NEW information in your conclusion. It is a summary of your paper. ~~~
