@meverett04: What is the y-intercept of the equation? y = 4x A. 1 B. 4 C. 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

heheheehehe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hop off

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is funny

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Get off my pellet

OpenStudy (turingtest):

you can do it, I have the faith in you. It is a positive sentiment ;)

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

dont be mean!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y-intercept is the point on the graph at which the function passes the y-axis (x = 0 on ALL points along the y-axis). So, to find that point, you must set the value of x in that equation to zero and find the value of y when x is set to zero. In this case, when x = 0, y is also 0. So, y-intercept is zero.

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

uknow how to solve this. unless u r afraid of the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

BTW - I don't know what "my pellet" means.

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

make y 0 for x and x 0 for y

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

GT i will tell u in chat

OpenStudy (turingtest):

Just read what GT wrote Actually read it...

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

no skimming!! READING!! <--

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

grr^

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

show how u got tht farara

OpenStudy (turingtest):

...or you could just go with some random answer that hasn't been validated.

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

good idea!

OpenStudy (turingtest):

1/3 isn't bad for knowing 0%
