golden ratio is seen in fractal design.... http://jwilson.coe.uga.edu/emt669/student.folders/frietag.mark/homepage/goldenratio/image19.gif the ratios rational approximation is given by the ratio of two consecutive Fibonacci numbers... (the higher the better). You see them in flowers, pineapples to galaxies
