u can do tht tomas?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

i can only kick

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

lets just say the question was genuine, what was that complex answer about? like seriously?? if i wanted to know the conversion of 1+1 in all the number bases, i'd look for a converter... and lets say we're ignoring that as a genuine question... why on earth would someone even ask what is 1+1 like seriously???????????? OMG WHY OH WHY?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

well i learned about tht technological answer a week ago..its binary code. its a language the computer understands. because all computers can do is just quick math problems.

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

the computer is all about binary, base 2 calculations, those are basic calculations and very fast, numbers used aren't a lot like in base 10 you'd have 10 numbers where as in this case you'd have only 2 numbers, 0 and 1, making it easier and faster for the computer to ... compute stuff.

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

correct

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

gtg now bye saso! and tomas if he is around!

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

the computer would opt for base 1 if there was any though... :P bye then :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he asked 1+1 because he wanted to troll? computer can calculate in any base, but implementing hardware for higher base number would be very hard and at some point probably impossible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Someone in math group just asked what's 0 + 0.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

I loved his answer :)
