Solve ldl>-2 I'm not sure what exactly I'm supposed to be solving.. I do know that d can be any number 0 and above, but how do I express that in this kind of equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d>-2/ll

myininaya (myininaya):

|d| is greater than -2 for all values of d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks like d can also be any number 0 and below, since |d| > -2 still works.... coolmath.com or whatever will ask you to break |d| > -2 into two separate cases, d > -2 or the other case -(d) > -2 becoming d < 2 (letting in the negative d-values).

myininaya (myininaya):

|d| is always > or = to 0 so if we have |d|>negative number then the answer is all real numbers

Thank you all! :)
