How would you find magnitude of a vector?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Finding the magnitude of a vector is essentially just applying Pythagorean's Theorem (remember, magnitude means length!). Thus, if your vector, for instance, is \[v=2i+4j-5k\] Then the magnitude would be \[|v|=\sqrt{2^2+4^2+(-5)^2}=\sqrt{45}=3\sqrt{5}\]

let take an e.g if given 2i - 8j +6k then |dw:1326658269434:dw|
