pleaseee give me an example of GCF and work that answers the example

myininaya (myininaya):

gcf(15,18)=3 since that is all that is in common 15=3*5 18=2*3*3 They only share the factor 3 (well in 1, but 3*1=3 so whatever)

An example would be if you were asked to find the greatest common factor (or GCF) of 12 and 15. The greatest common factor is just the largest integer that evenly divides both 12 and 15 (in this case). To solve this, you need only factor both numbers: \[12=2*2*3 \space , \space 15=3*5\] Since the only number they share is 3, that is their GCF.
