For the DNA base sequence GTT what is the mRNA codon? What is the tRNA codon that binds to the mRNA codon and what is the correct amino acid that is coded by the base sequence?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

okay man, all these questions are the same. I had the time to relearn these since you asked me, so you should as well. Use the info and links given to you to figure the rest yourself. That is the way to gain an understanding of the material.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know. I did that.

OpenStudy (kainui):

Guanine binds with Cytosine and Adenine binds with Thymine as far as DNA binding goes, however RNA uses Uracil instead of Thymine for its bases. One good way to help remember what bonds with what is to remember other structures that use these same bases. GTP and ATP are similar in structure, so you should know that G and A can't bond together. How do you know if G bonds with C, T, or U? The letters G and C are shaped similarly, which helps. So When you transfer information across bases, you aren't directly translating the information, instead you're giving the complementary set of bases to the next level. For instance if you wanted to transcribe a DNA strand of GCCATA you would get an mRNA strand CGGUAU. Then from there you would translate it to a tRNA strand that reads GCCAUA, which looks a lot like our original DNA strand with Uracil instead of Thymine. To find out what protein you make, remember that 3 bases codes for 1 protein, and you can find charts that tell you what codes to what on the internet fairly easily.

http://www.science-assessments.com/entry/translation-mrna-using-codon-dictionary and codon on rna strand will be CUU as m-rna and t-rna are the type of RNA itsslef so no changes of codon in them now chck it out in chart i m in hurry hope this chart help u

hey protein that will form will be leusine
