graph each list of #'s on a # line then order the #'s from least to greatest 2.6,0.5,/3,-7/10,1/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

.....ok so the negatives would be on the left. we should either convert them all to approximations of decimals or all fractions... frankly i prefer decimals. so 2.6, 0.5, .33, -.7, .3 .......i do not know what /3 is. it is not possible.......as it would be equal to 1/3 if it was 1.... please elaborate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a division sign and it is one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

.......then there is 2 1/3 's?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.6,0.5,/3,-7/10,1/3 but..................? confused :( why is there a "/3" AND a "1/3"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what the sheet says so idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you show us what you've done so far, and we'll help you from there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o_o.....then it would be..... -7/10, 1/3, .5, 2.6.. the /3 would not be in the number line because it can be anywhere depending on the value of the numerator.
