Why are the Bedouins of Sahara known as Pastoral nomads?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bedouins are part of an arabian genetic group living in the desert (there are many bedouin clans and groups spread through Africa and the Middle-East). The bedouins are nomads. Nomad people move from one place to another, instead of living permanently in one location, what is a good thing to do considering the hard conditions of the desert. Bedouins are pastoral nomads. A pastoral nomad moves his cattle between pastures. This is a farming system where the animals are moved to different places, in order to find new pastures. In pastoral nomadism, the animals are moved depending on the availability of resources. Bedouins and animals are constantly moving when they face the end of the resources.
