can bacteria transfer plasmids to nonbacterial cells

While a plasmid can work perfectly fine in both a bacterial cell and an eucaryotic cell I know of only one case where bacteria transfer DNA to a non bacterial cell, and that is Agrobacterium tumefaciens. It basically infects the host cell with a pathogenic plasmid that makes the host cell produce/overproduce specific nutrients for the bacterium. Maybe there are other cases with Archea but I have not heard about that.
