An air capacitor is charged to a certain potential difference.it is then immersed in oil .What happens to its(a)capacitance(b)charge(c)potential.

As we know air filled capacitor is said to be no dielectric medium.
Hence air filled capacitor has dielectric constant of ~1(at 1atm of air)
While for oil, this constant becomes near to ~42.5.

Do you know why we use dielectric medium?
I assume you know it. It used to increase the capacitance and then of course charge too. Then what about potential??

Estimate it to me.

capacitance will be incresed as \[\epsilon \times a\] is directle proportional to \[\epsilon\] and ϵ is more in oil.

What happens to the charge and potential depends on whether or not the battery used to charge the capacitor is disconnected before it is immersed in oil.
