i was just introduced to derivatives today in my physics class and all he gave us was this packet. so is this correct- 1st i took separated the x and cos and used the multiplication rule, which gave me x'(cos(x))+x(cos(x))' then i computed the derivatives of those getting cos(5x)-5sin(5x), because the derivative of x =1. i then separated the 2 from the ln3x and took the derivative from that getting a 1/x and multiplied it with a the 2 to get 2/x. i then added the cos(5x)-5sin(5x) to the -2/x did i do everything correctly?
