in the 2nd part there seems to be a missing bracket... (1 -1))/(x - 4)

oh there is a typo it should be ((1/(x-3))-(1/1))/(x-4)

still an odd number of brackets... but I think you need the limit property \[\lim_{x \rightarrow a} f(x)- g(x) = \lim_{x \rightarrow a} f(x) - \lim_{a \rightarrow a} g(x)\]
