Given that triangle ABC with the coordinates: A(-2,4), B(6,2) C(3,-2) translated to triangle A' B' C' where A'(3,-2) a. Use the coordinate notation to describe the translation b. Determine the coordinates of B' and C'

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Well, it looks like everything went right 5 and down 6. Apply that to the other points.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

assuming its a linear translation; and not some fancy rotation of the triangle itself

OpenStudy (amistre64):

end - start gives us distance and direction; we know the end and start of "A" A' = (3,-2) -A = -(-2,4) ------------ 5,-6 add this translation to the other points to find their positions B' and C'
