Determine which ordered pairs are part of the solutions set for the inequality. y≤x+2 A.(-1, 1) B.(0, 3) C.(2, 4) D.(3, 2) Select all that apply Explain how??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all except B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just ook down the list and see if the (x,y) pairs satisfy the inequaity

look*

I dont understand Inequality's at all so idk what you mean by satisfy the inequality

An inequality really is an expression of a restriction. So using your example, \[y \leq x+2\] This means that y is allowed to exist in a particular region of the real number line. That is, y is allowed to take all values up to and including the value of x+2, whatever x may be. However, y is restricted to this region, because it cannot be more than x+2, whatever x may be.
