CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROPORTIONALITY QUESTIONS!!!?!? I have two sets of numbers: The question asked: Determine whether or not the sugar content is roughly proportional to the caloric value of the beverages. Mass percent solution Calories/mL A 2.8 % 0.2113 Cal/mL B 3.9 % 0 Cal/mL C 8.7 % 0.5072 Cal/mL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it is not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the one with 3.9% sugar has no calories. kind of remarkable acually

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you figure that out? did you just divide them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all you have to do is divide the calories by the percent solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i just looked. if it was proportional, the greater the "mass percent solution" whatever that is, the greater the calories should be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay Brent0423 I did....I got A=0.1325 B= undefined C= 0.1715 what does this tell me about proportionality?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it tells you that you cannot divide by zero!!! divide the other way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay I did: I got: A: 7.54 B: 0 C: 5.83 Also i changed the percentage to decimal before i divided

Brent are you still there?
