How to label equations.

To label an equation as (1) say, just add \\(tag\){1} at the end of the equation.

You can put anything between the curly braces '{}' and they will be used to label that equation. e.g.:

\\([\)y=ax^2+bx+c\\(tag\){a}\\(]\)

will produce:\[y=ax^2+bx+c\tag{a}\]
Notice the label is automatically right-aligned and enclosed within round braces.
